The O’Neill’s All-Ireland 4 Wall Doubles Finals took place in Kingscourt on Saturday.
In the Men’s Minor contest Monaghan duo Eoghan McGinnity & Konrad Koval faced off against Kilkenny’s Jack Holden & Jack Doyle.
It was the Kilkenny pair who gained the upper hand early on taking the first set 21-9, but the Farney lads squared it up winning the second set 21-16.
So it was down to the final set decider. In another tight set it was McGinnity and Koval who did enough winning it 21-17 to clinch the title.
This saw McGinnity complete the second part of a double having won the singles title earlier in the year, while Koval became the first Polish native win an All Ireland title.
