Monaghan management keep faith with winning team

Malachy O Rourke has kept faith with his squad from the win over Roscommon last Sunday for this weekends encounter with Donegal in Ballyshannon in Division 1 of the Allianz league.

Rory Beggan as always starts in goals with Fintan Kelly, Drew Wylie and Ryan Wylie in front of him.

The half back line will consist of Ryan Mc Anespie, Neil Mc Adam, and Karl O Connell with the Hughes Brothers of Darren and Kieran at the centre of the field.

Dessie Ward, Shane Carey and Gavin Doogan make up the half forward line with Kieran Duffy, Jack Mc Carron and Conor Mc Manus completing the starting 15.

Vinny Corey is named among the subs having come on against the Rossies in Inniskeen, however neither Dessie Mone or captain Colm Walshe are available due to injury.

Both sides currently sit on 7 points and remain well in the hunt for a league final position.

Speaking after their recent victory over Roscommon, Monaghan manager Malachy O Rourke was keen to  highlight the strength of the panel they now have especially as their focus would be turning shortly to championship football

Throw in at Ballyshannon is at 3pm and we will have live coverage of that game on Sunday sport with thanks to Sams Diner Coolshannagh Monaghan.
