Monaghan U20’s looking to follow up on Development league success

In Championship football after the preliminary round last weekend the Ulster U20 competition moves into the quarter final stage tomorrow (Saturday)

At 2pm in Kingspan Breffni, Cavan will face Down while in Ballybofey Monaghan go up against Donegal.

Having claimed the Phily Mc Guinness Cup recently as part of the U20 developement league, the Farney side will travel in confidence, and manager Andy Callan seen that competition as a good opportunity to give players a chance to claim a spot on the panel

Elsewhere in the competition having overcome Fermanagh in the preliminary round Derry are away to Antrim while the defending champions Tyrone travel to the Athletic grounds to take on Armagh.
