More salting of non-regional roads is needed

There needs to be more salting of non-regional roads.

That’s according to Fianna Fail Councillor Philip Brady who raised the issue at the most recent Ballyjamesduff Municipal Meeting.

Many non-regional roads that are used continuously do not fall within salting routes and become very dangerous in frosty weather.

It was agreed that the council should find alternative ways of salting these vital roads.
