Motorists in Bailieborough asked to consider consequences of blocking accessible parking spaces

Motorists in Bailieborough are being asked to consider the consequences of parking in accessible parking spaces.

The “Back in 5” campaign is in the town between 10am and 12 noon to highlight the issue of blocking designated parking bays.

Ten standard parking spaces will be blocked by wheelchairs and mobility aids to demonstrate how it feels to not be able to park.

Aontu Councillor in Bailieborough Sarah O’Reilly explains the idea behind the concept.
