Mullahoran lost out in their Ulster Intermediate bid after a four point defeat to Antrim’s Naomh Eanna on a dearie night in Armagh.
Christian Healy found the net for Naomh Eanna 12 minutes into the game, giving the Antrim side a three point lead, with Mullahoran battling back, trailing 1-5 to five points at half-time.
Three quick fire points saw Mullahoran level the game up five minutes into the second half, however the recovery was short lived as Naomh Eanna restored their three point lead before Joe Maskey’s 51st minute goal put the Antrim side six points ahead.
Cormac Reilly had struck the Naomh Eanna cross bar with the Antrim side transitioning the ball into attack and Maskey finding the net.
Enda O’Reilly sent a penalty into the Naomh Eanna net with two minutes of additional time after Shane Shields was taken down by goalkeeper Paddy Flood, Flood then seeing the line.
However it was too little too late for the Cavan side who lost out by four points, 2-11 to 1-10.
