NAMA has funded the construction of 36 new homes in the local region, all in county Monaghan.
New figures from the Department of Finance show they are among just over 8,000 built across the country since 2014. They were funded by NAMA and were built on residential development land under the control of debtors or receivers.
Monaghan had one of the lowest number of new units built, with 34 in Waterford and 16 in Galway County. None were built in Cavan with the most, 2,000, built in the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown council area of Dublin.
