New figures show there are no registered in-home childminders in Cavan and Monaghan.
Since 2016 – there’s been a legal requirement for childminders to register with Tusla if they are caring for 4 or more pre-school children.
Despite this, seven counties have nobody registered at all, with only 81 registered across the country.
Limerick has the highest number of registrations at 14.
