Work on the new fire station in Virginia is expected to be complete in August.

Construction began last September, with the project dogged by delays since it was given approval and funding.

It’s expected to cost in the region of €1.7 million and will see a drastic improvement in facilities for Fire Service staff.

Virginia’s Station Officer Patrick Farrelly says work on the new station is progressing well
