A public consultation of Phase 2 of the design process for the N55 Ballinagh national road scheme has been launched.
It follows the completion of Phase 1, which included the initial public consultation on the scheme study area.
Six preliminary route options have now been identified.
To ensure the public is fully informed and has the opportunity to provide feedback, a Public Consultation Event will be held today between 4pm and 8pm at Ballinagh Community Centre.
An information leaflet providing details of the scheme will be available at the event.
Plans of the proposed options will also be available for inspection during office hours up until December 12th at the Cavan Town Council offices and the Ballyjamesduff Municipal District Office, at the Courthouse, Virginia.
