Cavan Library Service has announced a quicker turn around for some loans this summer.
The 2026 summer reading list was announced recently.
This year the library is testing out a shorter 10 day loans for the summer reads.

This is aiming to allow books to come back quicker, giving readers a chance to get through more titles on the list.
People are encouraged to call into any Cavan library branch to borrow from the collection.
Brochures are also available online.
