Niall Treanor Steps Down As Monaghan Ladies Manager

Monaghan Ladies are on the lookout for a new manager as Niall Treanor has informed the Monaghan county board he has stepped away for 2019.

Treanor informed Northern sound that he had stepped away and wont be applying for the position in 2020.

Treanor took the position in January this year and helped guide Monaghan to safety to the All-Ireland senior championship with play-off victory over Westmeath earlier this month.

The search begins for a new Monaghan manager after Treanor replaced Ann Marie Burns who had managed the team in 2018.

The new Ladies football season is set to begin in February.
