No improvement in the number of patients waiting on trolleys in the region

There has been no improvement in the number of patients waiting on trolleys in hospitals across the Northern Sound region this week.

There are currently 32 patients waiting on trolleys in the region, the figure remains unchanged from this time last week.

Sligo University Hospital remains the worst effected in the region, with 25 people waiting on a trolley, up from 14 last Tuesday, while there are also 13 patients waiting at Cavan General Hospital. Both Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and Our Lady’s Hospital Navan have recorded no patients waiting on a trolley today.
