Cork Motor club have confirmed the cancellation of their West Cork Rally, which was scheduled for March 20th and 21st.
In a statement released via social media the club noted the continuing uncertainty around large scale gatherings taking place in Ireland which has the potential to encourage the spread of the coronavirus.
The club seen themselves having to cancel their event last year at the 11th hour as the first lockdown came in on the same weekend that they were due to host it, a decision which they say was the right call to make, with the way things turned out after that.
Rallying across the country has been on hold since March of 2020, with the likely hood that no events maybe held before the end of 2021.
