The number of patients waiting on trolleys in Cavan General Hospital remains unchanged this week at 10.
Elsewhere in the region Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda has seen a significant drop in the numbers waiting on trolleys in comparison to last week from 25 to 4.
Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan has also seen a decrease from 1 to no patients, while Sligo University Hospital is the only hospital in the area to see a slight increase.
Last Tuesday they recorded 15 patients on trolleys which has increased today to 19.
Cork University Hospital has the highest number on trolleys today at 74, with 552 in total nationally waiting on a trolley.
