Nurses in Cavan prepared to strike until a reasonable offer is made

Nurses in Cavan are prepared to strike until a reasonable, and appropriate offer to address the current pay and staffing shortages is made.

The strike has now entered its 3rd day, and Dr. Colm Henry with the HSE said that it will become more difficult to assure patients their missed appointments can be quickly re-scheduled if the action continues. Nurses from Cavan Hospital will travel to Dublin this Saturday to take part in the rally, which will see nurses across the country come together to march on the Dail.
