Shane Finan is one of the organisers of a solidarity event planned for Monaghan town on Saturday.
A similar protest will be taking place in Cavan at the same time.

The events have been sparked by the killing of George Floyd in America, and are being used to show how racism is also present in Ireland.
Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show, Shane Finan disagreed that it was something that should be postponed.
