Part 8 planning permission has been approved for Ireland's only National Storytelling Centre in Ballyjamesduff.

The Cavan County Museum announced plans for the facility which would be unique to the area, in July, with hopes it will attract more oversea tourists.

Plans include building a new sheltered walkway link, a new carpark, in addition to the single story stand alone centre, indoor and outdoor
performance and workshop spaces, an archive room, and recording studio.
