The use of Television match officials at inter county games has been rejected by GAA’s Central Council at their last meeting.
Motions regarding match officials at their county conventions from Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins and Clare club O’Callaghans Mills were redirected to the last Central council meeting.
Sean O’Heslins want the establishment of a committee to consider the implementation of a television match official where adequate television coverage was available
Central council considered it impractical at present because of cost issues.
Sean O’Suilleabhain from the Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s club spoke to Kevin McDermott on Shannonside Northern Sound about their motion.
