Podcast: Ulster Head For Pro 14 Playoff’s

It was a great weekend for Connacht and Ulster as they booked their place in the play-offs.

Roscommon’s Jack Carty starred for Connacht in their 29-22 victory over Cardiff to ensure Heineken Champions Cup Rugby next season.

Tries from Caolin Blade, Gavin Thornbury, Matt Healy and two from Jack Carty got them the win.

A bonus-point victory at Murrayfield secured Ulster’s place in the Pro 14 playoffs.

Tries from Jordi Murphy, Rob Baloucoune, Rob Lyttle and Billy Burns helped Dan McFarland’s side to a 29-7 win over Edinburgh.

Munster also picked up a bonus point with late tries from Shane Daly and Alby Mathewson seeing them come from behind to win 37-28 away to Benetton.

Leinster, who were already through to the play-offs, were beaten 39-24 by Glasgow at RDS.
