Public asked for their views on how to improve Monaghan town

Members of the public are being asked to give their views on how to improve Monaghan town.

Monaghan County Council is running a day-long consultation to develop Monaghan as a “Tourism Destination Town”.

The initative is run by Failte Ireland to help local authorities enhance public spaces and attract international visitors to stay overnight in regional towns.

Everyone is invited to share their thoughts and ideas at the public consultation, which is taking place this afternoon at the Courthouse Square in the town.
