A public meeting is being held this evening for farmers to hear the latest information regarding Castleblayney Mart. The mart was established in 1963 and traded until entering liquidation earlier this year.
Local solicitor Paul McCormick will give an update on the situation and it’s hoped the IFA organised meeting will fill people in on what’s been going on behind the scenes.
The meeting is being held in the Glencarn Hotel Castleblayney at 8.30. IFA Chairman in County Monaghan Frank Brady said the meeting, which is open to all, will be as informative as possible.
