Ramor United have progressed to the semi-finals of the Hotel Kilmore Cavan senior football championship after a dominant second half performance.
Ramor got the better of Gowna by 1-15 to Seven points in Kingspan Breffni.
The winners were leading nine points to five at half-time. Gowna’s Oisin Peirson made it Three points to two after 16 minutes but Ramor kicked the next four points in the next four minutes.
Gowna followed that up with two points in a row before kicked the last two points of the half to go into the interval with a four points lead at nine points to five.
Ramor also kicked a wide from a penalty in the closing moments of the game.
The opening score of the second half took 12 minutes to arrive through an Oisin Pierson free. Gowna were to only score one more point in the game with Pierson popping up again with a point in the 58th minute.
Ramor dominated proceedings scoring 1-06 in the second-half Conor Bradley getting a goal moments after Oisin Piersons point.
Gowna had a player sent off in late on.
Ramor march onto the last four with an 11 points win.
