Ramor United pulled off a small surprise booking their place in the Hotel Kilmore Cavan senior football final with a two point win over Crosserlough.
Two James Brady goals saw Ramour to the October 13 decider as they won out 2-8 to 12 points in a contest where poor finishing ended Crosserlough’s hopes.
Brady’s 27th minute goal saw Ramour lead 1-5 to five points at the break with a resurgent Crosserlough finding five second half points before Brady found the net for a second time on 48 minutes.
Late points from Adrian Smith and Dara McVeety brought Crosserlough close to forcing extra-time but it was the clock that won out to end Crosserlough hopes.
Ramour United will now meet Castlerahan or Cavan Gaels in the Cavan senior football final on October 13th.
