Restaurant Association of Ireland calls on immediate closure their establishments by government

The Restaurant Association of Ireland is calling on the immediate closure their establishments by the government.

This comes following the announcement yesterday by Simon Harris that all pubs and nightclubs were to close until the 29th of March.

There has been an outcry from members of the association for urgent action as staff are reporting difficulties adhering to the 2 metre rule, as well as reports that customers are not following social distancing precautions.

Chief Executive of the organisation Adrian Cummins says that takeaway services are possible but that businesses need guidance from the government soon.
