A second man has been released without charge following Garda investigations into an attempted ATM theft in Virginia.
Three men were arrested after Gardai foiled the theft on Main Street last week.
On Friday, a Garda spokesperson confirmed a 61 year old was released without charge
This afternoon a 25 year old man who was being questioned was also released and file will be prepared for the DPP on both arrests.
A third man, a 28 year old, remains in custody this evening.
And a fourth person, who Gardaí believe fled the scene of the attempted theft, remains at large.
No further arrests have been made in relation to this incident.
