Senator Joe O’Reilly confident of economic growth despite preparations for No-Deal Brexit Budget

Local Senator Joe O’Reilly says that vulnerable businesses along the border must be “cushioned” from any potential negative effects from Brexit.

Speaking ahead of Fine Gael’s annual think-in, the Finance Minister says that the government is drawing up a budget on the basis of a no-deal Brexit.

Senator O’Reilly told Northern Sound that the budget and Brexit are both linked.

He also said that any form of Brexit will have a “dampening effect on the economy” but added that he was confident economic growth would continue:
