Sinn Féin TD says no one should face having electricity cut off during coronavirus crisis

A local Sinn Féin TD says no one should face having their electricity cut off during the coronavirus crisis.

Pauline Tully said that people in a position to pay their bills should do so, but has called for flexibility from utility suppliers during this period.

The Sinn Féin TD has also hit out at ESB for carrying out works that have affected people’s electricity supply.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Deputy Tully said this is not an option at this time and she has called on ESB to defer all non-essential work.
