Sinn Féin won’t take its 4 seats in Westminster ahead of Parliament’s ‘Brexit’ vote

Sinn Féin will not take its four seats in Westminster ahead of Parliament’s vote on Brexit.

Sinn Féin TD for Cavan and Monaghan Caoimhghín O’Caoláin declared that Sinn Féin have not and will never take their seats in the UK Parliament, as they would have to swear an oath to the crown.

It comes as Supreme Court yesterday ruled that MPs must get a say on the BREXIT process.

The Labour leader has said Sinn Féin should consider taking its four seats in Westminster ahead of its vote on Brexit.

But Caoimhghín O’Caoláin says Sinn Féin’s four votes will not make any difference to the outcome of the ballot.
