Steven Poacher has joined the Roscommon GAA Senior football management team.
The Down man who had been linked in recent times with the minor job within his own county has opted instead to join up with Anthony Cunningham.
Poacher previously worked alongside Turlough O'Brien and the Carlow footballers helping them secure promotion from Division 4 and reach a Leinster semi final in 2018.
In a statement last night the Roscommon county Board also confirmed that Gary Flannery has also joined the management team as performance games and development administrator.
The Rossies will contest Division 1 of the league this year and will also be hoping for a better run in the Connacht championship having lost their title to Mayo last year.
