It’s expected the Taoiseach will meet with Boris Johnson before the end of next week.
There’s speculation the new Prime Minister won’t travel to EU capitals to meet with other leaders but will step up no deal planning instead.
However, the EU Affairs Minister says she expects Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to meet Mr Johnson as soon as possible ahead of the summer break and party conference season.
