Temporary respite centre in Killygoan to open in the new year

HIQA has approved the opening of a temporary Respite Centre in Killygoan.

The temporary centre will provide respite services for those who have been affected by the closure of Annalee House due to remediation works.

The Cootehill centre has been closed since January, with the HSE unable to give a definitive completion date for the “extensive remedial works”.

The temporary centre in Killygoan will open in the new year and local TD Brendan Smith said the news will be welcomed by many families throughout Cavan and Monaghan.
