Ten more patients have died from the coronavirus in Ireland.
A further 255 cases were confirmed today, bringing the total for the Republic of Ireland up to 1,819.
The death toll for the Republic now stands at 19
Seven of the deaths in the past 24 hours were men. Nine of the ten deaths were in the east, with one in the south.
The median age of confirmed cases in Ireland is 46, while the median age for deaths due to Covid-19 is 79.
Earlier today, it was announced three Covid-19 patients have died in the North bringing the total there to 10.
Northern Ireland’s Department of Health also confirmed 32 new cases of the virus, bringing the total there to 241.
