Thousands of young G.A.A stars descend on Cavan and Monaghan today

Thousands of young budding footballers are descending on Cavan and Monaghan this weekend.

Today sees the start of the annual John West Féile competition, which is, this year, being hosted across the region by counties Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh.

The Underage GAA competition will see up on 6,000 girls and boys participate in hundreds of games which are being hosted by G.A.A clubs within all 3 counties.  Cavan county board Chairman Gerry Brady says, the players, mentors and supporters will bring an economical boost to the entire region.
