Three drivers in Monaghan receive court dates for drug driving

Three drivers in Monaghan have received court dates for drug driving.

On Thursday night last into Friday morning Monaghan Roads Policing Unit were out and about in the Carrickmacross District on Thursday night and into yesterday morning.

Two of the drivers were initially detected speeding and were subsequently stopped and tested while the third was tested at a Mandatory Intoxicant Testing checkpoint.

All three drivers failed and tested positive for cannabis.

They have since been charged and now each have a Court date to follow.
