Traffic control measures are expected to be in place for a number of days following a major wall collapse in Cootehill.

The incident happened yesterday evening near the Grotto, between the Mart and St Aidan's Comprehensive School, and local Councillor Aiden Fitzpatrick says the debris covers half the road.

The Fianna Fáil Councillor was in the area last night when the wall collapsed, and he praised the quick response of the local fire service and the County Council.
