Tributes paid to schoolteacher Aisling Brady

Tributes have been paid to Aisling Brady who has died.

The school teacher from Trim in County Meath suffered a pulmonary embolism in 2017 in Dubai and since then local communities rallied to support her and her family.

While travelling to hospital she suffered a number of seizures and a cardiac arrest which caused serious brain damage.

She was flown home in early 2018.

Aisling has family members in the Cootehill area of Cavan and a number of fundraisers were held in the county to raise money for her rehabilitation.

She died in Saint Francis Hospice in Dublin yesterday.

Her funeral will take place on Sunday in Trim.

Kill Community Development has passed its sympathies to the Brady family.
