Visiting restrictions remain in place at Cavan General Hospital

Visiting restrictions remain in place in Cavan General Hospital due to an outbreak of the Winter Vomiting Bug.

People are being advised that the restrictions are in place for all wards and patients are only allowed have two family members visit per day, unless the patient is critically ill.

The restrictions have been in place in Cavan General for two weeks since the outbreak of the Norovisus there.

The RCSI Hospitals group say they can’t say when the restrictions will be lifted, but they’re advising that the visiting restrictions are reviewed daily.
