Waiting lists for treatments in Cavan Hospital rose slightly in May

Waiting lists for treatments in Cavan Hospital rose slightly in May. Figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund show 7,635 people were waiting for inpatient and outpatient procedures last month, an increase of 21 on April.

However the figure has dropped dramatically over the last year with 789 fewer people on waiting lists in Cavan when compared with May 2018. Over 755,000 patients are waiting for procedures around the country.
