Warnings in place as Storm Ciara approaches Ireland

A status yellow wind and rainfall warning will be in place for Cavan and Monaghan from tomorrow morning as Storm Ciara approaches.

The weather warning extends to all counties in the country with the wind warning coming into effect from 9am, and heavy rain expected from 3pm.

Met Éireann has upgraded some of its weather warnings, ahead of Storm Ciara.

Orange wind warnings will be in place tomorrow afternoon for several hours in Donegal, Galway and Mayo.
