Water pipe replacement works in Cavan town move to the next stage from
Monday week (June 15th).
The major scheme is seeing old pipes replaced and disused pipes removed.
Works began in January and were expected to be complete in August, however the timeline has been extended due to the pandemic.
From Monday week, Church Street will be closed from its junction with Cock Hill to the junction with Tomas Ashe Street from 8am to 6pm.
Irish Water and Cavan County Council say diversions and restrictions remain in place while works take place.
