Danni Neilan from Rathbrennan in Roscommon is a former amateur jockey overcoming hurdles in a race to the top in mixed martial arts.

Danni came to national attention in 2017 when she took silver at the world amateur martial arts championships for Ireland. Her latest bout at the end of September gave her three wins out of three appearances on the professional fighting stage with Bellator Europe.

She joined Eddie Butler on Friday's JF Show to talk about her career to date and her hopes for the future.
