The Cavan Monaghan Enterprise Training Board (CMETB) are constantly growing and developing their services when it comes to Adult Education.
They provide opportunities and support to more than 4,500 learners annually and the courses are so varied that there is something for everyone. The courses offered can range from hobby style programmes such as flower arranging, and sewing, to certified programmes and trainee-ships. What's more they can be done either part-time or full-time so they can fit into your lifestyle.
Deirdre Byrne and Carol Kelly from the CMETB Adult Education Services joined Eddie this week on The Wider View to talk about the Adult Learner's Week. The week will see a number of taster sessions take place in a number of venues throughout the region from the 4th to the 8th of March. They explained what the week will consist of, as well as giving an insight into the positive impact adult education courses can have.
