A 34-year-old Dublin man has been handed a life sentence for the brutal murder of his ex girlfriend at her home in Arklow, Co. Wicklow in December 2019.
Daniel Murtagh of Melrose Grove, Bawnogue, Clondalkin, left 30 year old Nadine Lott unrecognisable to her family after he savagely beat her.
The 30-year-old died in hospital three days later.

Nadine's mother described what he did as 'the devil’s work'.
