HEAR MORE: Councillor Colm Carthy speaks about the importance of marking Babyloss Awareness Day

Buildings across Cavan and Monaghan will light up next month in remembrance of stillborn children.

At 7pm on October 15th buildings will be lit up in pink and blue to mark Babyloss Awareness Day and the International Wave of Light, which is being supported by Irish charity Feileacain.

Sinn Fein Councillor in Colm Carthy spoke to Northern Sound today about the importance supporting people who'll be remembering children they've lost.Sharing his only family's experience, Colm Carthy said he hopes people will turn out to support the event.
