Cavan IFA chair running for Ulster / North Leinster role. The chairperson of Cavan IFA, Maurice Brady, is one of two contestants running for the IFA’s Ulster / North Leinster chair later this year.
Indeed, Mr. Brady has held the role of Cavan chair for four years, and his term is set to come to an end in December.
Should he be elected to the Ulster / North Leinster role, Mr. Brady would replace the current chair, Monaghan pig farmer, Frank Brady, although the two are not related.
The Cavan farmer mentioned a number of issues he would tackle in office, including generational renewal, and the CAP.
However, Mr. Brady highlighted the importance of tackling TB for farmers in the Monaghan / Cavan area.
He was chatting to Northern Sound's Maitiú Monaghan this week.
