Drivers and the public in County Monaghan give their view on the bus strike

Bus Éireann drivers around the country have mounted pickets this morning as an all out strike gets underway.

The company says the action will worsen its deteriorating financial situation - last year it lost 9.4 million euro.

Yesterday unions announced an all out strike from midnight - both the Transport Minister and Bus Éireann say they're extremely disappointed about the action.
