A Castleblayney councillor has criticised the circulation of CCTV footage of an incident in the town that led to the death of Stephen Marron. Fine Gael Councillor Aidan Campbell said in today's hunger for pictures and footage of tragic incidents, the release of the tape was a mistake.
He said people should show more sensitivity on social media and he encouraged people not to share the video run by the national media. Aidan Campbell said the release of the CCTV highlights the need for greater control.
