More and more people are dining out mid week, buying pre packaged meals, and ordering takeaways on a regular basis. Many people are turning their backs on the kitchen and home cooking, citing a lack of time, laziness, and a lack of inspiration as their reason for doing so.
But maybe it's not as time consuming as we think, and perhaps we can use more accessible ingredients than celebrity chefs on TV do and still come out with a tasty, healthy, and filling meal.
Well, Liz McGuinness of Lynster House in Monaghan has embarked on a mission to get people in the region back to basics and cooking from home and from scratch once again.
