The Garden Choir is the new choir that has been set up by the Cavan Alzheimer's Society, for people with dementia and their families.
The choir is open to all throughout the region, Cavan and beyond and will be a place for people to socialise once a month while having a sing-song.
The first rehearsal was attended by our reporter Sheila Naughton, who arrived to a packed room with people of all ages.

Following the inaugural practise she spoke to the Musical Director, members of the Rugby Choir who came along to support it, as well as first time attendees about the morning.
